Marketing with a Concentration in Digital Marketing

Gain the knowledge necessary to succeed in a digital marketing environment. From web analytics to SEO, you will acquire skills that you can take wherever you go.

Why Study Digital Marketing at Assumption?

The digital world is a dynamic and evolving environment with new tools and strategies emerging every day. With the use of smartphones, tablets, and other forms of new media, organizations have been discovering new ways to market products and services to consumers and new forms of content to share across digital platforms. The digital marketing concentration at Assumption helps you gain the knowledge necessary to succeed in a digital marketing environment.

From international corporations to startups, the demand for effective digital marketing is increasing every year. This concentration covers topics such as social media marketing, email marketing, and mobile strategies. Through a program that prioritizes experiential learning, you will learn to develop and implement contemporary marketing campaigns for any type of organization and learn to make tactical and data-driven decisions using social media measurements, business intelligence, SEO/SEM, web analytics, marketing data, and more.

Students enrolled in the concentration work with local start-ups and small businesses to conduct audits of the organization’s digital channels. As part of this experiential learning experience, students collaborate with those organizations to develop new marketing strategies that have contributed to the growth of those organizations.
