Commuters Lounge
This popular student hang-out spot is located on the bottom floor of Alumni Hall, and you can meet other commuters. The lounge includes a kitchen and TVs for a dorm-like communal feeling. Come over and visit it today!
Clubs and Activities
There are many opportunities for you to engage with the Assumption community, from joining intramural teams to writing for the student newspaper, Le Provocateur. The Student Government Association also sponsors a monthly commuter lunch.
Commuters Connect Club
This club is a great way to meet and connect with one another, as well as learn more about resources on campus. The General Members Meeting is held on Thursdays during the Common Hour. Contact Mike Rodier for more information!
Special Commuter Events
Commuter Weekend offers commuters a chance to see what it is like living on campus for a weekend. A Commuter Family Hour takes place during Family Weekend for members of the Assumption community to connect. Make sure to stay in touch to get more details about these fun events and more!

FAQs
Can commuters go into the residence halls?
Yes! Students are welcome to visit friends who reside in residence halls. Your friend will have to provide access to the building, as access is granted via ID card to those who live in residential buildings.
Can commuters have a car on campus as a first-year?
Yes! In fact, they are the only first-years who are allowed to have cars on campus. Students can purchase a parking pass at the beginning of each academic year.
Where do commuters park?
You are welcome to park in any available student parking space. Get more parking information.
Do commuters have to get a meal plan?
No. However, you are still able to purchase one if you want to eat with your friends in Taylor or at Charlie’s! Purchase one today.
Can commuters participate in intramurals and clubs/organizations?
Yes! You are able to participate in any, and all, on-campus activities, including intramurals and joining clubs/organizations. There’s even a club just for commuters! Join today!
