“Being a first-year, first-generation student at Assumption University in 2020 came with its own unique challenges: mentally, academically, and personally. Amongst other circumstances, I was struggling and placed on academic probation This period was a significant wake-up call. Amy Hurley, Associate Director for Student Success in the Academic Support Center, would end up being my saving grace– my Assumption Mom! During our weekly meetings, she went above and beyond her job description, ensuring I had confidence in my academics and a highly successful college experience!”
