Not Catholic? Campus Ministry at Assumption supports students from all religious traditions, and the staff of Campus Ministry includes Catholic and Protestant ministers. With very few exceptions (such as receiving Communion at Mass), everything that Campus Ministry offers is open to students from religious traditions other than Catholicism. In addition, Campus Ministry can help to connect students with local communities from their religious tradition. Click on the button below to see a list of many of the religious communities in the Worcester area.
Not Religious? Campus Ministry welcomes students who are not affiliated with a religious tradition but who want to explore and deepen their spiritual life. There are many opportunities:
- Get to know the campus ministers at First Thursday Bagels in Tinsley
- Participate in a retreat
- Practice meditation in the Interfaith Prayer Room in Tinsley or the Zen Den in the IT Building
- Participate in a SEND service immersion trip
- Listen to students, professors, and staff talk about spirituality during a Fireside Chat in Pierre’s Pub
- Learn more about the Bible in a Bible Study group
Any of the Campus Ministers would be happy to speak with you and give you more information on groups and programs that may be of interest to you.
