assumption college class of 1975 yearbook collage

We are thrilled to welcome the Class of 1975 back to Assumption University for your 50th Reunion! From June 6th to June 8th, campus will come alive with memories, laughter, and reconnections, and we can’t wait to celebrate this significant milestone with you.

The 50th Reunion Committee has prepared a special message to share with you which was sent via email in November. The previous email from September can be viewed by clicking here.

Dear Classmates,

We’d like to share what has been planned for our class at the June reunion. The three of us are working closely with Melanie Demarais, our primary contact in Assumption’s Advancement Office, to create a memorable and enjoyable weekend experience. Along with the extensive schedule of activities planned for all alumni throughout the weekend, we are also planning events exclusively for our classmates and guests. We hope these gatherings will provide many opportunities to reconnect.

Below are the social events planned just for our class!

Class of 1975: “50 at 500”

This “50 at 500” will be a great opportunity to come together in a relaxed setting at the newly opened campus pub and to reconnect with old friends. While there won’t be an official program, welcoming remarks and details about the weekend will be shared.

50th Reunion Class Dinner

Saturday, June 7, 2025 – TBD

Please join your classmates for a special dinner welcoming the Class of 1975 into the Golden Greyhounds. The evening promises to be filled with laughter and shared memories and will include a short formal program.

Mass in the Chapel

Sunday, June 8, 2025 at 10:00 am

Our classmate, Rev. Warren Savage, will celebrate the mass and deliver the homily.

On-Campus Housing

Friday and Saturday nights

If you plan to participate in the weekend events and would like the convenience of staying overnight on campus, there will be first floor (as space allows), air-conditioned rooms available in the Living and Learning Center at a rate to be announced. The lounge on the sixth floor of the Center will be available for informal gatherings after hours.

Fifty years is a significant milestone! Whether or not you’ve attended previous reunions, this is one you won’t want to miss. An additional mailing from the Advancement Office will follow, providing details on various options for the Class of 1975 to continue the Assumption tradition of giving a meaningful

50th Reunion Class Gift.

We encourage you to explore these options, and please don’t hesitate to contact Melanie with any questions. She is very helpful and has been taking the time to personally connect with several classmates to address their inquiries.

Thank you and best wishes for an enjoyable holiday season!

Jane, Paul and Alex
