Paul Chase holds a degree in Math and Physics from Worcester State and an MS from WPI. He has been an adjunct faculty member at Assumption University since 1980, teaching a variety of courses in computer languages, security, project management, applications, and MIS. Remarkably, his first computer classes at Assumption were taught six years before the IBM PC and 13 years before the World Wide Web.
Paul also served at Becker College, where he played a pivotal role in establishing its first computer science degree program. He was later promoted to Dean and Vice President of Information Services, overseeing the installation of computer networks for both students and administrative use, as well as managing postal mail and phone systems. Additionally, he developed Becker’s first admissions database and created the college’s inaugural website.
