Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Zach Triner ’15 to Discuss Unconventional, Inspiring Path to the NFL and Super Bowl Champion

Tampa Bay Buccaneers long snapper and Super Bowl Champion Zach Triner ’15 will discuss how his faith and perseverance carried him through his unconventional journey from undrafted NFL hopeful to a Super Bowl Champion in an online event on Wednesday, June 2, at 7 p.m. Triner will host a question and answer session following his talk. 

Empowered by unwavering faith, determination, and the lessons he learned at Assumption, Triner endured enormous struggle and obstacles on his road to becoming the long snapper for the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who won Super Bowl LV in February. 

After graduating from Assumption, Triner, a Marshfield native who earned psychology and political science degrees from Assumption, endured grueling workouts, tryouts, and participated in team camps 13 times, working for Fidelity Investments in between, but never gave up on his childhood.
