Silva ’06, Colleague Among Early Pioneers of 3D-Printed Prosthesis

Meet Dr. Kyle Silva, D.O., ’06, chief resident, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Jacobi Medical Center in New York City, who holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Assumption. Dr. Silva and his colleague are creating prosthetic devices using 3D printing technology, a method that makes prosthetics more affordable and expedites the delivery of such devices.
