Assumption’s Philosophy and Religious Programs Recognized Among Nation’s Best

Assumption has some of the best philosophy and religious programs in the country—and second in Worcester—according to BiggerFaith.org. The ranking entity recognized Assumption in the top 30 out of 200 colleges and universities with similar academic programs, BiggerFaith.org chose these 200 educational institutions among the 1,150 across the country.  

The ranking is based upon a number of criteria, including “the cost of attendance, the average salary post-college, and the percent of students that completed the program,” according to BiggerFaith.org.  

As a Catholic institution, Assumption emphasizes the value of the Catholic intellectual tradition in its theology and philosophy courses to provide students an array of perspectives and insights into living a life in pursuit of happiness as defined by the call of God.
