The Assumption College Women’s Studies Program with the Center for Nonviolent Solutions, (a Worcester non-profit engaged in peace education) presents “WE GROW INTO COURAGE.”
This multi-media presentation on women who worked for civil rights in the American South is a project of the Center for Nonviolent Solutions.Through dramatic readings and song, presenters tell the early history of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) as remembered by its female activists.
