The French Institute, History Department and Phi Alpha Theta (History Honor Society) at Assumption College welcome David Vermette to present, “Fears of Conspiracy: How were French-Canadian Immigrants Received in New England?”

David Vermette is a researcher and writer. He is the author of A Distinct Alien Race (Baraka Books, Montreal, 2018) a study of Franco-Americans in the New England cotton industry.
