(CANCELED) Lecture: Mysteries to Ourselves: Exploring Questions of Identity, Race, and Vocation
After studying the violent history and ongoing effects of white supremacy, students of various racial backgrounds will sometimes express anxieties about their identity. How can they understand and value themselves if they belong to a racial group that regularly benefits from the oppression of others? On Thursday, April 16 at 7 p.m. in the La Maison Salon, Andrew Prevot, Ph.D., associate professor of theology at Boston College, will discuss “Mysteries to Ourselves: Exploring Questions of Identity, Race, and Vocation” in this April installment of the President’s Lecture Series.
