(Canceled) Lecture: Facing the End of Life

Fr. Myles Sheehan, SJ, provincial of the USA Northeast Province of the Jesuits and former geriatric physician, will explore “Facing the End of Life” in the next installment of the President’s Lecture Series on Tuesday, March 24 at 7 p.m. in the La Maison Salon. Compassionate and life-affirming care is possible for those facing the end of life. Proponents of assisted suicide argue that true compassion requires allowing individuals to end their lives deliberately. Fr. Sheehan, will explore a number of aspects of this timely topic.
