Richard Velkley, Ph.D., the Celia Scott Weatherhead Professor of Philosophy at Tulane University, will present a lecture, The Chains of the Free Spirit: Seven Aphorisms on Nietzsche’s The Gay Science, Book 5, on Wednesday, March 18 in the ballroom of the Tsotsis Family Academic Center. The lecture is sponsored by the College’s Texts and Enduring Questions Program.
