Assumption University Band Christmas Concert

The Assumption University Band conducted by its Director, Bruce Hopkins, will be playing its annual Holiday concert on December 8, 2021 at 8 p.m. in the Curtis Performance Hall.

The concert will feature music by Vaughn Williams, Copland, Roszell and Monk. Also featured will be saxophone soloist Harrison Lane (‘22) playing a solo jazz piece with the band by Sammy Nestico. The second half of the program will be comprised entirely of Holiday music with pieces by Rutter, Waldteufel, Reineke and Anderson. Also featured will be the Assumption Sax Ensemble playing a variety of seasonal favorites.
