Assumption Chorale Spring Concert
Professor Michelle Graveline conducts her final concert on campus with the Assumption Chorale on Sunday, April 14 at 2 pm in the Curtis Performance Hall. Prof. Graveline will retire from Assumption in May after 35 years at the College. The Chorale will be performing choral masterpieces from the 16th and 17th centuries, as well a works from the 20th and 21st centuries. Composers include Alessandro Scarlatti, William Byrd, Thomas Tallis, Hall Johnson, Dominic Argento, Vijay Singh, Alice Parker, Philip Stopford and Mack Wilberg. The Chorale will also premiere a song in gospel/jazz style by Professor Paul Gallagher. The Chorale will be making a concert tour to Ireland May 13-20. The concert is free and open to the public.
